Abstract Underlying much current work in philosophy of imagination is the assumption that a skill. This seems to entail not only facility with imagining will vary from one person another, but also people can improve their own imaginative capacities and learn be better imaginers. paper takes up this issue. After showing why properly understood as philosophical question, I discuss what it means say than another then kinds training techniques might employed an effort get at imagining.
